The New Forest Walking Festival has 75 walks offering a behind the scenes view of the National Park. The New Forest is a wonderful place to walk, with flat, accessible routes that allow people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the Forest’s fiery foliage on a bracing autumn walk. Many walks are free and all are led by expert local guides covering topics including:
• Free-roaming pigs, ponies and the traditional rights of commoning
• Wild play activities for children
• World War II secrets from a prisoner of war camp
• Guided alpaca walks
• Beginner’s tips for bird watching.
