Pet-friendly stays for spring walks
The New Forest is the perfect place to stay with your dog, with superb walking country and plenty of pet-friendly accommodation to choose from.
Spring is the ideal time to explore 300 square miles of idyllic woods and open moorland, criss-crossed with trails through the ancient National Park landscape. And when the sun is shining you can head for the New Forest’s coast, with 43 miles of wide open beaches to discover.
The New Forest offers a range of pet-friendly accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets, including cosy B&Bs, self-catering cottages, camping and caravan sites, holiday parks and hotels where you can take your dog on holiday. For more information see our dedicated dog page.
To help choose from the extensive range of walking routes, try a downloadable walk including some designed by New Forest National Park rangers. Take your pick from routes which take you from the banks of the Beaulieu River to the Beaulieu Road Station rustic corrals, used for cowboy-style Drifts which round up New Forest ponies.
