For more than 900 years, a mill has stood on the site of today’s picturesque Eling Tide Mill, set on the water’s edge at Eling, near the New Forest. Plan your trip to coincide with one of the regular milling sessions and you will witness the flour-making process in action, you can buy our flour and other gifts in the Gift Shop.
The heritage centre is sure to capture the imagination as displays include a 3000 year old Bronze Age dagger found in Testwood Lakes and an air-raid shelter where you can safely experience the bombing of the Eling Tar Works in the Second World War.
Take one of our picturesque walks and finish off with well earned refreshments at the Eling Creek Tea Rooms
