This beautiful traditional family run Country Inn, with log fires & oak beams has a fabulous atmosphere. Debbie, Sam & all the staff will give you a very warm welcome all year round. The picturesque beer garden backs directly onto the forest and is lovingly cared for for your enjoyment.

The amazing restaurant is renowned for probably the best freshly cooked homemade pub food in The New Forest, the friendliest staff and the real ales. It is open all day and food is served 12noon to 9.30pm EVERYDAY!!

Children & Dogs are welcome anywhere in the bar and restaurant and there are two rooms available for dog owners.

Check in is 2pm and checkout is 11am. 24 hour access is available for residents.
There are many walks and cycle routes directly from the pub - being in the heart of the forest wild ponies, cattle and pigs wander by daily. Horse riding facilities are nearby with a local yard should you wish to bring your horse.

Situated in Emery Down. Turn off A35 Lyndhurst to Christchurch Road - just outside Lyndhurst. Signposted to Emery Down The New Forest Inn is just over the hill over the cattle grid.

We are in the heart of the forest with walks directly from the pub. There are horse riding facilities quite near. Lots of cycle routes includes us. Children welcome from any age.
