“Accommodation pretty good; food was excellent!”

Our room was clean and comfortable but nothing special. There was an unpleasant smell in the hall area downstairs that wasn't (thankfully) noticeable from the room, but it was a bit worrying when coming in and out of the guest area.
The dining area, which is the restaurant/bar was very nice and never felt overcrowded even during the evening when it was quite busy. The food, however, was superb! A good choice of starters, mains, and desserts, all freshly made on the premises - delicious!
We had little interaction with the staff, but those we did chat to were friendly and efficient.
Overall for what we got, the price was very reasonable too.
Would we go back there? Based on this experience - yes, definitely.
