Easter Egg Hunts In The New Forest

Easter weekend starts on the 18th of April this year, and with the children having time off from school you might be thinking of ways to keep them entertained. Throughout The New Forest there is an array of Easter themed activities for you and the whole family to enjoy.

If you are looking for a great day out then why not visit Beaulieu Motor Museum who are holding an Easter Egg-stravaganza between now and Monday the 21st of April. Younger visitors can enjoy a ‘hare-brained’ Easter trail and collect a sweet treat at the end, whilst also enjoying the museum, gardens and much more!

Longdown Activity Farm are holding fun Easter trails and activities for the whole family, why not head down and see if you can find the clutches of eggs. With varying levels of Easter trails for different ages, everyone will have a fantastic Easter weekend at Longdown. Remember the baby chicks, goats and Easter rabbits will also be around to pet, stroke and feed.

Between the 18th and 21st of April you can also pop on down to Exbury Gardens to enjoy the fantastic day out organised for the family. See if you can spot the Easter bunnies hiding in the woodlands as you enjoy a fantastic ride around the gardens on the railway. Everyone will have fun on this fantastic day out, with lots of surprises in store and lots for the adults to enjoy.

An Easter Eggstravaganza will also be taking place on Saturday the 19th of April at Cadnam Garden Centre, which will ensure the kids are kept busy during the holidays. Enjoy Easter breakfast with the Easter bunny before enjoying an Easter hunt around the garden centre. With face painting and Southampton rabbit rescue coming in to let the children pet the rabbits, you can ensure a great day out.

For families looking for adventure then try visiting Avon Tyrell Activities Centre on Easter Sunday and have fun across 65 acres of grounds. With face painting, decorating sweet boxes, challenges and activities – The Avon Tyrell Easter egg hunt is perfect for active families. Finish the day with coffee and cake on the terrace.
