New Forest Marque

The New Forest Marque is a recognized sign that is easily identified and ensures that all produce is from the New Forest.

In order to qualify for the Marque, New Forest producers have to make sure that their goods meet stringent quality standards. Meat producers, for example, must show that very high standards of animal welfare and good animal husbandry have been applied at all times. View the 2012 New Forest Marque Holders.

To coincide with the New Forest Marque; the New Forest Breakfast and the New Forest Veggie Breakfast have been launched; they are made up of at least three items of New Forest Marque produce. To make sure you'll be getting a scrumptious New Forest Breakfast look for the logo! There really is nothing better after a blissful nights sleep than a New Forest Breakfast.

During your visit to the New Forest you may wish to sample the delicious top quality produce from the area. To really get a taste of the forest you can choose local specialities identified by the New Forest Marque when you are shopping or dining out.

By selecting local food that is fresh and in season, you will actually be helping the forest to stay special as not only will you be supporting the local economy and New Forest producers, but also reducing the impact that food production has on the environment.

Just remember great food has a great Marque!
