June 20th marks the 2016 Summer Solstice. The sun will dawn at 4:42am and closes out at 9:21pm; this gives us a mammoth 16 hours and 38 minutes of sunlight! The weekend of the 18th is your best chance to make the most of that summer glow and really enjoy what nature has to offer.

It’s February. It’s cold. It’s wet. You want to go out and enjoy life but you’re held back by every British person’s arch nemesis – the weather.
Now, the New Forest isn’t usually the first thing that springs to mind when coming up with ideas for indoor activities. You don’t exactly want to walk around up to your knees in mud whilst spotting some rather sad and soggy ponies.
However, there’s plenty of indoor activities to try in The New Forest. Here’s just a few of our suggestions.
