Lepe is a Country Park
Lepe is a Country Park situated on the coast within the New Forest with stunning views across the Solent waters and across to the Isle of Wight. It consists of over a mile of beaches, pine fringed cliffs, historic D-Day remains and wild flower meadows.
If you want a great day out Lepe is an ideal place to go if you want to take a few hours to relax or take in the beautiful sights. The most popular activities at Lepe are walking, swimming, fishing, windsurfing and bird or boat watching, there is also a children's play area, picnic areas, BBQ's for hire, toilets, plenty of parking spaces and a nice cafe too.
Lepe is home to lots of wildlife that you are free to explore and try to find. Discover what lives along the shore, bird watch over the North Solent Nature Reserve and Dark Water Estuary or even try to spot the numerous butterflies that are attracted to the wildflower meadows.
Lepe is open everyday from 7.30am until dusk, parking charges apply for both cars and coaches (free for Blue Badge holders). Dogs are welcome but please note that in the summer months there is a dog free area for families.
There are numerous events throughout the year at Lepe ranging from shelter building to art exhibitions.
