Lymington
Head on down to Lymington on a Saturday and enjoy the hustle and bustle of a traditional street market along its Georgian High Street. This colourful coastal town is also an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history.
The popular market, selling everything from local fine foods to craftwork and antiques, isn't the only attraction. Take a wander through the pretty cobbled streets of the old town and on to The Quay to watch the luxury yachts and fishing boats come and go.
Take a boat trip around the Solent to see the Isle of Wight or a bracing walk along the 10 miles of nearby nature reserve.
Relax afterwards in one of the many fine dining establishments - or enjoy afternoon tea in the charming town, which also boasts a wide range of unique and interesting shops.
Visitors can unwind at the popular health and leisure centre with a heated pool, our famous sea water baths, or visit the family friendly St Barbe Museum and art gallery. Lymington has its own railway station and a regular ferry service to the Isle of Wight.
