Whitefield Moor

Whitefield Moor is situated in the heart of the New Forest along the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive, just outside of Brockenhurst. Parking is free of charge (although there is a donation box). Whitefield Moor car park is situated on vast open heath land which is perfect for spotting the numerous ponies and highland cattle that graze nearby.

Whitefield Moor is a great sunny location prefect for sporting games or even to just to let the kids run off some steam there is also a lovely way marked walk called the Ober Water Trail which is also suitable for wheelchair and pushchair users.

The walk will take you through some shady woodland along the Ober Water stream, which eventually joins up with Blackwater to form what is the Lymington River. Ober Water Map, Ober Water trail details.

Whitefield Moor is another great site perfect for a picnic, as there are plenty of picnic benches as well as toilet facilities.
