Graylands (suits 2-8 people) is a delightful, cosy forester's cottage with original features (log fire) in ¼ acre garden open all year. Ideal for a couple, or families (see website below, book/enquiries to 07967 007 642 or i.bruce1@btinternet.com). Enjoy the forest from panoramic windows overlooking a magnificent, shallow New Forest valley - nothing but fields, woodland and heath in view - birds, deer, other animals. The New Forest starts at the gate with paths in all directions (also to pubs/restaurants). Beach is ½ an hour. Within 25 miles is Stonehenge, Salisbury, Beaulieu, Paulton's Park, Lymington (ferry to Isle of Wight), Christchurch/Bournemouth, Dorset. 70% of visitors re-book.
Weekend breaks out of season.

Exit at Junction 1 on M27 and take the B3078 towards Fordingbridge. When you get to Godshill (Fighting Cocks pub), turn sharp left down a dead end road marked "Newgrounds only". We are approx half a mile down the Forest road on the first sharp left hand bend

Notes
Internally the kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom, disabled loo (installed to national standards) and wetroom shower (large enough to have a shower seat, but no rails yet) are all on the groundfloor with no steps or ridges and they are connected with doorways with a minimum of 77cm width. To go outside to the flat short concrete path to the car and to the short (2 metre) concrete slope down to the patio (1:10), there is a 7cm (2 inch) high ridge/threshold in the door way
