The New Forest Show
The New Forest Show is a three day county show event in Brockenhurst which started in 1921, which is run by over 300 volunteers each year. The New Forest Show was originally set up to give families a great day out focused around traditional country pursuits. The New Forest Show will be open on the 26th, 27th & 28th July 2016.
The New Forest Show has now become a major event within Hampshire with thousands of visitors coming along every year. There is a wealth of things to do and things to see at The New Forest Show, so why not take the family down this summer and experience the highly acclaimed county show.
There are plenty of things to see at The New Forest show with demonstrations throughout the day such as show jumping, art demonstrations and even a game cookery demonstration. The kids will have a spectacular day out, with a show farm letting them get up close and personal with some farmyard friends.
Along with things to see there are plenty of things to do at The New Forest Show, the theme of this year’s event is ‘join the adventure'. Whether that is by taking part in the tug of war with a tractor or even getting involved in pottery making, there is something for everyone to take part in at The New Forest Show.
Although the New Forest is full of pubs and restaurants that will tantalise your taste buds, there will also be plenty of stalls and food available throughout the New Forest Show. With a dedicated food hall where you can purchase the best food from around the country, and local produce available in the local food and farming section of the show you will be spoilt for choice at lunchtime!
