Three chefs will go head-to-head to provide what each believes will be the best sausage dish you’ve ever tasted!
Vying to have their dish claimed the most popular of their peers, each will have two very different recipes so there will definitely be a main course favourite for everyone, including the vegetarian. To follow will be an ice cream or sorbet dessert.
A free booklet of their recipes from the night will show how a classic can turn into a gastro meal - and all three will be on hand to answer questions.
As a little extra, each table will get a free digital kitchen probe so the chefs can show you how to be sure you have a safe sausage on next summer’s barbie.

Hockey’s Farm Shop & Café will feature a Tastes of the Forest Specials Board in their Farmyard Café, they will be serving the classic New Forest Breakfast and also the very English Afternoon Tea – all showcasing New Forest ingredients.
And if it’s a glass of local wine or beer and cheese and chutneys from the Forest Larder well that’s available too.
And for every day of Festival Week at noon the Farm Shop will be demonstrating how to make a Great Forest Banger. They’re well qualified for the job - their British Lop Sausages and Hand of Pork were Two Gold Star winners at The Great Taste Awards 2016.
The Farmyard Cafe and Farm Shop opens daily from 8am to 6pm and Sunday from 9am to 5pm.
