Ringwood Brewery, Ringwood

Ales at their best and brewery tours.

Beer has been brewed in Ringwood for centuries - ever since medieval man first mixed the crystal water of the River Avon with the malted barley harvested from the fertile fields of Hampshire. The market town was a magnet for merchants who needed their thirst slaked before getting down to business.

Ringwood Brewery was founded by Peter Austin in 1978, revered as "the father of British Micro-brewing". Today the brewery is capable of producing 40,000 barrels of its renowned and distinctive beers.

A list of stockists is available on the Brewery website, but they have their own shop and host brewery tours as well.
