Exploring the New Forest on Foot
"Exploring the New Forest on Foot" is a series of eight individual walking guides for the New Forest. Each A5 guide contains an easy-to-follow route description, detailed map, colour photographs and background information, along with access details from Lyndhurst.
The walks range from 2 miles to 6.2 miles and take in some of the most impressive of the Forest scenery including:
- Bolton's Bench near Lyndhurst
- The Knightwood Oak
- Shatterford, at Beaulieu Road
- Acres Down, near Minstead
- Ashley Walk, near Fordingbridge
- High Corner, at Linwood
- The Beaulieu River
- Telegraph Hill, near Fordingbridge.
The guides are printed on durable weather-proof paper to provide protection from the elements and therefore are also light and easy to carry!
