Details

“Merrimead” is in the village of Alderholt, a couple of miles west of the historic town of Fordingbridge known as the gateway to the New Forest.

Helen is a prize-winning cook and offers and extensive breakfast menu including homemade bread made with flour from the local water mill, and home-made biscuits in the bedrooms.

Children from 10 years welcome.

A stair lift is installed for those who find stairs difficult.

We do not take one night bookings at weekends between Easter and the end of September. At Bank holidays the minimum is three nights.

Still on the B3078 this road leads into Alderholt.
""Merrimead"" is half a mile from the sharp S-bend just after entering the village.
