Details

At the Thatched Cottage we do our utmost to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. Whether you join us for a single meal, an afternoon tea, or a full weekend’s stay; our objective is to ensure that we meet and exceed all of your expectations. Thus, we put great care into the Thatched Cottage experience; from our homemade cuisine to the attention to detail in each corner of our establishment

Built in 1627, the Thatched Cottage is a converted traditional farmhouse that once belonged to Morant Estate. The house was acquired by the Matysik family in 1989, and it is now in its 20th year of operation as a hotel and restaurant.
