VisitEngland 4 Star Bed & Breakfast

All the national assessing bodies (VisitEngland*, VisitScotland, Visit Wales and the AA) now assess hotels and guest accommodation (including B&Bs) to the same criteria and award one to five stars. The star ratings reflect the overall quality of the experience. New Forest Tourism Association

New Forest Tourism Association was formed in 1989 to work in partnership with New Forest District Council to promote the New Forest as a quality year-round holiday and business destination. Today, NFTA works closely with both the New Forest District Council, National Park Authority Forestry Commission to both promote and market the New Forest as one of the premier tourism destinations within the UK.

New Forest Breakfast

The 'New Forest Breakfast' was developed to encourage stronger links between small tourism businesses and local producers in the New Forest. Research in the past undertaken by Tourism South East had shown that B&B's and small hotels were interested in using local produce in their business but did not know enough about where to source the produce, nor do they find in practical to get produce from a number of different outlets.
