Ashurst Caravan & Camping Site

About

The many cycle and footpaths offering direct routes to the New Forest will attract travellers looking for a convenient base to explore from. If you’re looking more for tranquillity, don’t worry, there’s also plenty of relaxing to be done in the shade of our marvellous oak trees. The village of Ashurst – just a five-minute stroll away – offers shops, pubs and restaurants. The local area provides plenty to do with the Longdown Activity Farm and The New Forest Wildlife Centre. Lyndhurst, the unofficial ‘capital’ of the New Forest is just 2.5 miles away, providing hours of fun for history fans, including the Verderers’ Hall. Looking for convenient travel options? The Ashurst New Forest train station is situated close to the site with direct trains to London and Bournemouth, stopping at Southampton. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on this site and there is no electricity. Assistance Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a short lead. However, there are toilets, and a shower block and launderette.
