A peaceful grassland campsite amongst scattered oaks, Denny Wood offers the simple pleasures of natural surroundings in the New Forest, where you can enjoy a truly relaxing back-to-nature holiday. Scattered oak trees surround this peaceful grassy site where you can you’ll find direct access to the forest as well as ponies roaming freely between the pitches. You can also cycle to the nearby village of Brockenhurst without having to use any roads. The site has an emphasis on nothing but nature, meaning that grassland and trees take precedence over toilet and shower blocks, so the only facilities on site are chemical toilets. Drinking taps are provided, and Denny Wood’s 170 pitches cover tents, trailers and caravans, with hardstanding and seasonal pitches available. Please note that dogs are not allowed due to the many ground-nesting birds on this site.
