About

It would be hard to find a more perfect location than Gorse Cottage. Our front garden looks out directly on to the New Forest and a secluded back garden overlooks fields where horses graze. Ponies, donkeys, pigs and deer are often to be seen outside the front gate. The cottage is situated a mile from the popular village of Brockenhurst.

We have a lockable bicycle shed if you want to bring your own bikes with you. We have extremely modern facilities and offer WiFi internet access. There are excellent facilities for families with children and babies.

Gas cooking. Non smoking.

      Map & Directions

      Road Directions

Take the M3, then the M27 westbound. At Junction 1, take the turn off for Lyndhurst & follow the A337 to Lyndhurst, and then Lymington. To find the cottage you must proceed from Lyndhurst to Brockenhurst. As you approach Brockenhurst, you will see the Balmer Lawn Hotel set back from the road on the left. Balmer Lawn Road (B3055) is beside the hotel and the cottage is about 10 houses from the far end of the road, before the bridge on the right.
