Graylands (suits 2-8 people) is a delightful, cosy forester's cottage, with some beautiful original features (including a stunning brick hearth for log fires, and some wonderful old ceiling beams).
Downstairs is a vintage-feel kitchen with modern facilities, complete with Butler sink, patterned floor tiles and antique table. A big open plan dining and sitting area features large picture windows for wildlife viewing, whilst upstairs are charming bedrooms with an old world atmosphere. Graylands Cottage also has two downstairs bedrooms, accessible without steps, and a downstairs shower room and W.C.
The cottage sits in ¼ acre garden with apple trees and a spring-flowering magnolia. It is ideally suited for families and dog owners, but if there’s just two of you don’t fear - we offer a 10% discount.
Enjoy the forest from panoramic windows overlooking a magnificent, shallow New Forest valley - nothing but fields, woodland and heath in view. You’ll be spoilt for encounters with the birds, deer, and other curious animals.
The New Forest starts at the gate with paths in all directions (also to pubs/restaurants).
The spectacular Jurassic Coast and fossil beaches are just a ½ hour drive away. Within 25 miles is Stonehenge, Salisbury, Beaulieu, Paulton's Park and Peppa Pig World, Lymington (ferry to Isle of Wight), Christchurch/Bournemouth, Dorset.
The cottage has WiFi, phone and T.V. We also have an electric vehicle charging point.
