M3-M27 heading west - A31 - Take Burley turn off at Picket Post - proceed over cattlegrids into forest, following lane into Burley village, turn left in village centre into Chapel Lane. Proceed for ½ a mile turn 2nd right into Beechwood Lane , Great Wells House 400yds on right hand side marked by a white stone. Proceed across cattle grid up driveway to house, the Dairy & Garden Cottage.

Nearest mainline station is Brockenhurst (7 miles).
