  • Building of historical interest
  • Garden - The garden is private to the cottage and securely fenced against the Forest. We ask guests to ensure that they always keep the gate closed and bring their vehicle inside when ever possible.
  • Working farm - Old Stables Cottage is part of our commoner's small holding from which we turn our New Forest ponies out onto the Forest to graze. We are happy to talk to you about how the commoning system works and its vital role in keeping the New Forest accessible and beautiful for all of us to enjoy.
