There’s plenty to do here in the New Forest for a family including some show-stopping days out such as a visit to Peppa Pig World at Paulton’s Park or the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. There is also off-road cycling trails and many outdoor activities such as kayaking, sailing, waterpark inflatable fun or nature-spotting.

Family Friendly Hotels

Here you will find many of our hotels in the New Forest offer facilities for families. Whether it’s a cot in the room, family bedrooms, adjoining rooms, the use of highchairs for mealtimes or even babysitting or baby listening services.

Many of our hotels offer cycle hire or can arrange activities such as horse riding and guided walks. New Park Manor Hotel and Spa, in Brockenhurst classes itself as a luxury family hotel. It offers facilities which include a creche, a cinema room, cots, table football and teenagers’ spa sessions. Family Friendly B&Bs

The majority of our B&Bs in the New Forest are happy to accept children and you’ll find several offering family rooms with bunk beds or foldout z beds.

B&Bs near Cadnam and Ower are very handy for families visiting Paulton’s Park and those around the Beaulieu area are very convenient for the Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Palace House and Abbey ruins and the nearby water sports at New Forest Activities. You will also find that some of our B&Bs have cycle hire, or have places for you and your family to store your bikes if you bring your own.

In all our B&B’s you can start your day off with a hearty New Forest breakfast and have fun making new memories as you explore our beautiful countryside and towns & villages.

Some of the campsites managed by Camping in the Forest offer back-to-basics camping, which is ideal for budding outdoor enthusiasts. See how many stars you can spot in the evening sky from just outside your canvas.

Shorefield Country Park at Milford on Sea is within walking distance of the beach, perfect for a paddle in the sea.
