Escape the house and venture into the heart of the New Forest. Just a few miles from Burley, an ancient village with a history of local witches and sprightly fairies, The Old Airfield is a vast, well-drained camping ground but we have limited the capacity—so you won’t struggle to claim your corner of the countryside.

Overlooked by nothing more than a smart copse of beech and oaks, at The Old Airfield, the only distractions come from the forest’s wild inhabitants, the New Forest ponies and their foals will be watching from the surrounding heathland, as you relish the great outdoors.

Spotless eco-facilities, shower blocks with high pressured piping-hot water, drinking water points and loads of other great facilities. Plus we have a breakfast truck and Barista coffee in the mornings and a pizza oven at the weekends and other food trucks during the week.
