David and Jayne are delighted to welcome you to Whitemoor House and will do our best to make your stay a pleasurable experience. We have completed our Risk Assessments for compliance with the COVID-19 Secure Requirements and we would like to reassure you that everything is in place and we have our 'Good to Go' Certificate. This includes a socially distanced full cooked breakfast; sanitisation points in all key areas; social distancing markers around the house and enhanced cleaning measures in all Communal Areas and in the Guest Bedrooms. The Guest Lounge is temporarily closed, but we have ample seating in our pretty, secluded garden. Our top priority is that guests feel confident staying here and can enjoy the space and freedom of the New Forest.
Whitemoor House overlooks the open New Forest, and a policy of continual refurbishment ensures a high standard of accommodation is maintained. Well appointed rooms offer comfort and style, with double, twin and romantic four poster beds for that special occasion (champagne, chocolates, flowers and strawberries can be arranged on request).
Our hearty breakfasts are delicious, made using only the finest local produce, from farmhouse sausages, dry cured bacon, free range eggs to scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. We make our own marmalade, jam, lemon curd, granola and welcome cake. Special diets (e.g. vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free) are catered for, preferably with 48 hours notice.
We provide well stocked mini bars, a cosy lounge with a real coal fire for those winter months, a sunny garden for warmer days, an extensive library of books, DVDs and board games and complimentary Wi-Fi (BT Infinity), with your comfort being our top priority.
Lyndhurst village centre is just an 8 minute stroll away and has an excellent selection of restaurants, pubs and tea/coffee shops. Cycle hire is available in Lyndhurst, with several well-marked tracks to choose from. The unique New Forest Golf Club is within walking distance and offers beneficial rates to our residents.
With over 45 attractions including Beaulieu, the home of Lord Montague, Eling Tide Mill, Hurst Castle and the New Forest Owl and Otter sanctuary, Whitemoor House, with its central location, is a great place to stay in the New Forest.
We welcome children with a minimum age of 12 years.

By road, take the M27 Westwards, leaving at Junction 3 or 2, then follow the signs to Lyndhurst. Whitemoor House can be found on the A35 on the right, just a short distance after the New Forest Golf Club and on the outskirts of the village.
If flying in to Southampton Airport, there is a train station where you can either get a train straight to Ashurst or Brockenhurst, or else you may have to change at Southampton Central. Alternatively, a taxi ride to us from the airport should take 20 to 30 minutes.
By rail either arrive at Ashurst New Forest (2 miles distant), from where we can arrange a taxi for you if you wish. There is also a bus from the station to our door. Brockenhurst Station(4 miles away), has both a taxi rank and a bus service (Bluestar 6) to Lyndhurst. The Bluestar 6 bus service to and from Southampton is frequent and stops are a few hundred yards away. During the Summer an open top New Forest tour bus operates from Lyndhurst village centre hourly, which offers a delightful car-free experience around the National Park, enabling you visit villages and gardens with ease.
