On Sunday 18 June, we celebrate dads here in the New Forest! Whether your father figure is your dad, grandad, step dad or another significant male role model, you’ll be sure to find loads of ways to spoil him!

Days out with a difference
Take your dad out for the day (or across the weekend), there’s loads to see and do here in the New Forest from family-friendly Peppa Pig World to the vast collection of cars and vehicles at Beaulieu’s National Motor Museum.

On Father’s Day, Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum we will be hosting an Italian Bike Ride In. The event runs from 10am-3pm and local motorcycle traders will be present. Everyone is welcome to attend whether or not they are a motorcyclist. On the day, adult admission will be at the special price of £10 and all dads accompanied by their children (young or old) will receive a complimentary museum guide.
Tuck into a hearty ploughman's with your dad over Father’s Day weekend at the colourful Furzey Gardens. Follow your lunch with a wander round the garden, a fairy door hunt and enjoy the beautiful sights of early summer.

Why not help your father get his aviation fix by visiting the New Forest Heritage Centre so he can find out all about the twelve airfields that were in the New Forest during World War II as well as the brave men and women who operated them? The New Forest Heritage Centre and cafe will be open between 10am-4pm on Father’s Day.
Perhaps treat dad this Father’s Day to a unique gift from Marwell Zoo. Whether it’s a themed gift from the shop, an animal experience, or an annual pass – there’s something to suit everyone. You’ll find all the information you need on Marwell’s website.

Book onto an outdoor adventure
Cherish your time together by exploring more of the New Forest’s great outdoors. Use our website to pick your perfect walking route and plan a picnic along the way. You can even save the stress of trying to pack your own picnic by pre-ordering one from New Forest Picnics.
For a serene time, and a great one for dads that love the water, is the Father’s Day Paddle with Papa sessions being run by New Forest Adventures. Take a gentle paddle along the Beaulieu River stopping for a pint at the Master Builder’s Pub in Buckler’s Hard. Pre-booking is essential.
