Talking of the local food and drink produce in the New Forest, much of what our local producers offer would make the perfect gifts for your friends, family and colleagues at Christmas. From crumbly fudge to local ales, to tasty jams and chutneys, even hampers and baskets stuffed with incredible local produce! You will find loads of these products in local shops around the New Forest, some producers even have their own shops, or they sell their produce online.
Another fantastic way to try and buy local produce is at the Christmas Markets that take place in the New Forest in the run up to the big day. With rows of stalls offering yummy tasters and selling their produce at brilliant prices, and some items even beautifully gift wrapped ready to give to your loved ones. This year’s Eats 'n' Treats at Brockenhurst College on 28 November is Christmas themed, and keep an eye out for announcements of other Christmas Markets too.
