It’ll soon be that time of year again when you can practice your “oohs” and “ahhs” – Bonfire Night! How can you forget the saying “Remember, Remember the 5th of November”?! We’ve got several fireworks displays taking place across some of our towns and villages in celebration of Bonfire Night this year. Take a look and plan which display you want to head to…

Saturday 30 October

Although taking place before Bonfire Night, New Milton Round Table Charity Fireworks display falls within half term so makes it perfect for children. Gates open at 5.30pm with the fireworks display set to start at 7pm.

Enjoy a spooktastic Bonfire & Fireworks Night at Exbury Club on Saturday 30 October. Gates open at 5pm, with the firework display taking place at 7.30pm! You’ll find doughnuts, hot chestnuts, a BBQ, small children’s rides and lots more treats at this great event, plus you can come in Halloween fancy dress!

Also running on Saturday 30 October, Pains Fireworks will be staging a fireworks night at Pumpkin Pastures, Fordingbridge. Gates open at 6pm, with the display beginning at 7pm.

Friday 5 November

The spectacular Fireworks and Bonfire Night is back at The Three Tuns in Bransgore on Friday 5 November! Enjoy a fantastic display, plus there will be hot food, snacks and drinks available. Gates open at 5.30pm.

Saturday 6 November

Sees the New Forest Fireworks Night light up the skies of Strawberry Fields, Boldre (near Lymington) from 4pm. Fireworks will be provided by two-times winner of the British Firework Championships, for the ultimate in displays. You can also expect a huge bonfire, fairground rides, live music, food and drink. Limited tickets are available so pre-booking is strongly recommended.

Sunday 7 November

Also taking place on the Sunday night is Totton’s Fireworks Night held at Totton and Eling Cricket Club. Gates open at 4.30pm with the fireworks display planned for 6.30pm. This fireworks display will be set to music with a host DJ. There will also be fun fair rides, food and bars.

Looking for other things to do?

Why not combine your fireworks evening with a visit to one of our family-friendly attractions within the day? And if you don’t live locally, be sure to check out the places to stay within the New Forest and make a short break of it.
