In the past decade Hamptworth Golf and Country Club has developed its facilities to earn the respect of one of the finest clubs in Wessex. The 18 hole, Championship, par 72 course winds its way through ancient woodland and the River Blackwater. The course is a very real challenge to the experienced golfer, however it also has a softer "family feel" borne out of the very successful seniors, ladies, mens and junior section of the club. Hamptworth always welcomes visitors - from the absolute beginner to the low handicapped player - they will find a warm welcoming environment both on and off the course.

Hamptworth Golf and Country Club is fortunate to have two of the "best croquet lawns in the west" which attract visitors from far and wide. Both competitive and social croquet is on offer with enviable year-round playing conditions that are a testament to the ground staff.

To really complete the leisure experience Hamptworth Golf and Country Club now have two all weather Tennis Courts. The courts are situated in a picturesque position, where you will not be disturbed by hustle and bustle of day to day living.

For traditional refreshment in the Clubhouse, the 19th Hole Bar and Restaurant Facilities are not only ideal for a drink and a snack after a brilliant sporting day, but also great for any special occasion. Our hospitality staff will make sure that your event runs smoothly, whether it is a family gathering for our locally renowned Carvery, served every Sunday or a wedding reception. With the new conference facility, you can now mix business with pleasure. This is a most impressive venue for any business meeting and our corporate team are on hand for your every need.

The unique woodland golf course is complemented by everything that one would expect from a country club.
