Car Parks & Toilets
Forestry England are not currently planning to make any additional closures to its
car parks in the New Forest during lockdown. As usual at this time of year, a small number of car parks are closed due to ongoing maintenance and those vulnerable to flooding and damage in bad weather, but there are still over 100 forest car parks open. New Forest District Council operate over 50 Pay and Display Car Parks on the coast and in our towns and villages.
The toilet facilities at Bolderwood, Blackwater, Wilverley and Whitefield Moor remain open, however the toilets at Anderwood and Hatchet Pond remain closed because social distancing requirements cannot be met at this time, there are alternative toilet facilities in nearby New Forest District Council town and village car parks.
Find out more on car parks visit our car parks page.
