EASTER HOLIDAYS

About

We had so much fun becoming nature detectives during the Easter holidays in 2017! Read on to find out what we got up to, and stay tuned for details of our 2018 activities.

During Easter 2017 we got our magnifying glasses out to explore the natural world at Beaulieu...

MR. NATURE DETECTIVE
Mr Nature Detective could be seen driving around the Beaulieu grounds in his Willys Jeep.

PLANT YOUR OWN CRESS
Visitors could chat to the Victorian gardener and have a go at planting their own cress.

NATURE TREASURE HUNT
Visitors could collect their own special Nature Detective trail bag to gather wildlife treasure on the Mill Pond Walk. Did you collect all the items?

GIANT GRIFFIN CARVING
We invited visitors to ride the Monorail for the best view of our tree-top griffin, carved from an oak tree.

FREE FACE PAINTING
We went incognito! We had great fun with our free nature-themed face painting.

WATERY WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHS
We invited our visitors to get creative and snap a photo through our outdoor picture frame. Head to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and search for #BeaulieuEaster to see what they took!

FLOWER FAIRIES
If you tiptoed quietly down the Mill Pond Walk you might have been able to spot the homes of the flower fairies.

PLUS... WE HAD EVEN MORE ACTIVITIES OVER THE EASTER WEEKEND
Visitors who came over the Easter weekend could take part in even more fun activities!

WHITE RABBIT
We loved having the larger-than-life White Rabbit.

CHOCOLATE TREAT
We hope you enjoyed your chocolate treat from Palace House - we know we did!

VEHICLES IN ACTION
Amazing historic vehicles could be seen motoring around the grounds.
