How Ringwood Celebrated Victorian Jubilees

About

Imagine you could go back in time and see how the main streets of Ringwood looked in Victorian days. That is what Ringwood Society member Mary Baldwin will be conjuring up when she gives a talk to the Society at Greyfriars on June 30th.

Entitled 'Queen Victoria's Jubilees in Ringwood' Mary will be using the detailed description of how the houses in Christchurch Road, the High Street, Market Place and West Street were decorated for Victoria's Jubilees, as reported in the newspapers of the time.
