New Forest Commoning & Breamore

The historic Hulse Hall in Breamore, New Forest, is celebrating its centenary with a monthly series of lectures including a stellar line up of speakers.

Dr Gale Pettifer, historian, writer, marketing professional and practising New Forest commoner. Gale's PhD is focussed on the politics of inclosure in the New Forest during the eighteenth century. Gale's role as a New Forest commoner means that she is 'on-call' 24 hours a day if a pony needs rescuing or an emergency arises.
