During periods of lockdown all classes will continue online.

Forest Forge Young Company offers opportunities for young people aged 18 – 25 (post sixth form) to delve deeper into the world of theatre and develop themselves as artists and theatre makers.

Working together as a collaborative ensemble, they are encouraged to create their own work – whether that is performances in our studio, pieces of site specific work or digital performances. The Young Company are supported and mentored by the team at Forest Forge, who pledge to offer training and experience in all aspects of theatre from performance to directing, technical to administration, fundraising to design, marketing to dramaturgy.

We also offer support for people auditioning for drama schools, and offer opportunities for assisting workshops

Formally known as The Gap, previous productions produced include: The Trial, Alice, Love Steals Us From Loneliness and The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls with members managing all aspects of the show themselves. Former members of The Gap have gone on to train at the UK's most prestigious drama schools, including RADA and Rose Bruford and undertaken full-time careers in the Arts.
