About

Just a short drive from wonderful beaches at Bournemouth and Christchurch, our site at Holmsley is ideally situated for a seaside break. The Dorset coast is lined with miles of beautiful award-winning beaches, making the site a great location for a family holiday in England. The relaxed site is also a haven for wildlife, and you’ll often see ponies grazing on the access roads. You can also enjoy the added convenience of having a licensed shop on site, selling a range of beverages, groceries, camping essentials and children’s toys and games, and a take-away food service. Holmsley contains a children’s play park and is ideal for families of all ages – from those with young children looking for safe cycling routes to those looking for adventure with longer hikes and mountain biking. The site has electric, hardstanding and grass pitches as well as a separate rally field. Please note that rock pegs are advisable for this site. There are toilet blocks with showers, a launderette and sinks, and an onsite shop for all your essentials. Please note not all toilet blocks may be open in quieter periods. The breakfast and evening takeaway service has options to suit all the family, and is available in high season and on weekends during mid/low season. The site is close to several stunning beaches including Hengistbury Head, as well as an array of other attractions. The nearby village of Burley offers traditional pubs and tearooms and Bransgore has a bakery, a butcher and a chemist, as well as highly recommended inn The Crown. * SatNav postcode is BH23 8EB – this will get you onto Forest Road, then look out for the Holmsley campsite signs.
