Staged in the beautiful Burley Park in the New Forest on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June, Dogstival is gearing up for a totally epic weekend for dogs and dog-lovers.

Crowned ‘Best Pet Day Out in the UK’ award, Dogstival leads the pack as having the most ‘have a go’ activities than any other doggy festival in the UK. From flyball, agility, a Scurry Village, Barkour and scent work, lure racing through to diving and splash pools. It’s bursting with all manner of dog sports for both newbies and seasoned veterans.

Hounds and their humans will also be treated to paw-dropping arena shows including the Paws For Thought display team and Little Nippers & Terriers lure racing. In a nod to the summer Olympics lunchtime see’s The Battle of the Sniffers, an ultimate challenge of scent work and agility from local dog teams and Hampshire Search and Rescue all battling it out to see who’s top dog.

Other highlights include the Dogfuriendly Muddy Paws Tavern, who will keep the good times flowing with dog beer, dog bingo, the Big Pup Quiz and a series of popular breed meets up. There’s also a double decker ‘Boogie Bus Bar’ that’ll be spinning tunes.

If you’re in need of some expert tips and advice the Canine MOT Centre for all the latest health and wellbeing know-how. With talks from nutritionists, vets, physios and leading dog trainers who’ll help you keep your pooch on the right fitness track.

It wouldn’t be a festival without some paw-tapping live music and the Hound Dog Music Stage welcomes 8 bands across the two days. With soul, rhythm & blues, Motown, Celtic folk and plenty of pop favourites!

Food is also set to be a huge canine crowd-pleaser, with just some of the tempting canine goodies on offer including puppuccinos from Pop & Bark and meaty flavours at the Lickie Mat Café from the Raw Pet Food Pantry.

For humans there’s more than 130 stands to shop and sniff around with local artisan food and drink to keep everyone fuelled.

Being set in the stunning New Forest National Park, Dogstival is aiming to polish their eco halos, reducing carbon emissions with solar and wind power, switching to biofuel and working to recycle 70% of all festival waste.
