Late August and September are a gentle reminder that summer doesn’t last forever. The orange tinge creeping over the leaves, and the first few spinning to the floor, signal the change to come.

Make the most of this final part of the season by escaping to one of our Camping New Forest glamping locations. Our glamping bell tents offer the perfect balance of comfort and adventure - and now’s the perfect time to book with our £50 discount!

There are several locations where you can go glamping in the New Forest, two of which are Holmsley Campsite and Ashurst Campsite.

Holmsley Campsite is open until the 31st of October. That means it offers the longest glamping season in the New Forest this year. You’ll be immersed in golden tones and get to experience the Forest as it shifts into its next season. Holmsley also has an onsite shop and takeaway, meaning you can pick up the essentials you may have forgotten or splash out on a bottle of bubbles if the moment feels right. Holmsley is our only site with a play park, which was refurbished for the 2025 season. It pays homage to the history of Holmsley as a World War Two airfield, as the play park is a Spitfire plane. It’s also a great location if you’re looking to visit both the coast and the Forest, with Avon Beach just a few miles away.

With Ashurst, you’re in the heart of the New Forest. It’s just a 5-minute drive from Lyndhurst, often referred to as the capital of the New Forest - home to great restaurants and local attractions. Ashurst is a great choice if you want the beauty of the New Forest but with amenities close by, such as two pubs and shops within walking distance. Your bell tent overlooks wide-open woodland - particularly beautiful at this time of year. It’s only open until the 30th of September, which means time is running out!

Both Ashurst and Holmsley have a two-night minimum stay for the rest of the 2025 season, which has been reduced from three nights. So, it’s now easier to squeeze in a short escape to nature - even with a busy schedule! Plus, when you book your escape between 01.09.25 and 31.10.25, you can save £50 on your booking at Holmsley or Ashurst. On a two-night mid-week booking, that’s just £150 for your escape - a perfect way to reset and break up the year.
