Whether you’re planning a gentle pootle or a longer day in the saddle, we’ve rounded up some of the best New Forest cycle routes with a pub on the way - or at the finish line.

Lyndhurst to Burley

Two great pubs and gorgeous forest scenery

Cycle from Lyndhurst through woodland and open forest to reach the charming village of Burley. On the way, refuel at The New Forest Inn, or finish up at The Burley Inn, both known for welcoming muddy boots, hooves… and wheels!

Top tip: Look out for free-roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle as you pass through the quiet trails and back roads. Always keep your distance!
