THE NEW FOREST FOOD FESTIVAL IS BACK, BIGGER AND BETTER

Taking place on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August, join us for a fantastic weekend of gastronomic delights. The two-day festival is the perfect way to enjoy delicious food, fantastic entertainment, mouth watery cookery demo’s and all-round family fun.

Fancy learning some new skills or hearing more about local produce, then The ‘Hampshire Fare Cookery Theatre’ is the place for you. We have demo’s from local new forest chefs, including our head liner and neighbour Colin Nash from Colin Nash @ The Retreat, as well as local producers like Jen Williams the founder of Naked Jam.

Discover a showcase of local and regional crafts from a diverse selection of textiles, jewellery, paintings, woodcrafts, ceramics, sculpture and much more. Including The New Forest Candle Company with their Signature Scent collection & BearWood a company devoted to creating a new life for timber that would otherwise end up as firewood or woodchips.

A fantastic array of food pop’s up are guaranteed to satisfy your tastebuds. There is something for everyone, mouth-watering burgers, Napolitan style pizzas, Asian fusion and delicious Italian ice cream to name a few. We welcome back this year The Bao Best with their epic open Bao buns filled and delicious sides like homemade gyoza and BBQ ribs.

You will be spoiled for choice with awarding-winning handcrafted beers and ales, lagers, wine, sprits and heavenly cocktails. Drop The Anchor Brewery combine traditional brewing methods with the latest technologies to ensure consistently excellent taste. Or perhaps you are after something with a bit of sparkle, then Botanical Bubbles have you sorted with their Merry Berry Fizz made using foraged Sloe Berries.

Fun activities for the kids, we have your covered. Keep the young ones entertained all day with Bubble Fairies, Farmer Games, Crafts, Circus Skills, Fire Shows and a touch of Magic. For the thrill seekers we have our family-run Coles Funfair, the perfect mix of nostalgia and adrenaline. Or perhaps they want a make-over with a stunning face paint or a colourful braid.

Festival vibes will be brought to you from 11.30am on both days from our fantastic music line up providing a blend of jazz, rock, pop and the classic from live bands including BBC Introducing artist Archie Ray Archie & party band Carbon Copy. Nothing quite like live music in the sun, with a cold beverage and delicious food surrounded by family & friends.
