The New Forest and Hampshire County Show returns for the three-day annual event with dazzling displays, games, livestock competitions, and many more family-friendly activities. Try the local food and drink with a host of caterers around the showground. Join us on 30 July – 1 August at the Showground in Brockenhurst, for a unique and immersive experience.
The 2024 Show looks set to be a day out like no other as the UK’s number one freestyle motocross Team, Bolddog FMX sign up to wow families at the three-day event. The Bolddog FMX motocross showcase incorporates the latest heart-stopping tricks as usually only seen on TV.
The Show is famous for its series of Equine competitions, in particular, the spectacular International Show Jumping. Across The Show’s three days, more than 2,500 horses and riders will compete in over 50 prestigious Qualifying Classes, alongside an action-packed schedule of displays and parades, including the Heavy Horse Musical Drive.
Head to the countryside area to experience ferret racing, falconry, cooking demonstrations and plenty of chances to get involved. With over 3,500 animals to discover at this extraordinary event. See the cattle, meet the sheep, and say ‘hi’ to the horses!
Festival of food:
More than 40 stands selling a selection of food and drink from across the world will be filling our Festival of Food this year. From cheese to biscuits and bakers to brewers from Mediterranean to Asian delights, tantalize your taste-buds and try some of the delicious produce.
Not to be missed:
Blacksmiths can be seen battling against the clock to demonstrate their wrought iron skills in live competitions. We have both static and live competitions. Watch the skilful Adams Axemen Lumberjack Display Team battle out against the clock in exhilarating competitions, showcasing traditional and modern practices.
The Flower Show is one of the most stunning must-see areas within the Show. Any budding flower arranger is welcome to enter the flower arranging competitions. Classes are open to all levels of ability.
