Walhampton Arms

Set in the stunning New Forest, the Walhampton Arms is just a few minutes from the bustling Georgian market town of Lymington with views of the Isle of Wight across the Solent. It’s the perfect location to relax and explore.

The pub dates back to the 1800’s when it was a diary and part of the Walhampton Estate. That history and character remains, but inside, we’ve bought a rustic and contemporary feel to our dining and drinking spaces, that also provide a variety of options for events or parties.

Stay in one of our five newly renovated stable bedrooms named after the local villages of Beaulieu, Pilley, Sway, Boldre and Portmore. Just 5 mins drive from the Georgian market town of Lymington the rooms have a modern rustic charm with contemporary details. All finished to the highest standards the comfortable rooms all feature luxury bathrooms with walk in rain forest showers, flat screen tv’s, complimentary Wi-Fi, tea and coffee facilities and choice of a cooked or continental breakfast.

Perfectly placed in the heart of the New Forest National Park, The Walhampton Arms is perfect for a dog friendly break and there’s no need to leave your four-legged friend at home as three of our room’s welcome dogs. Comfortable, stylish and practical with direct access to the garden it’s an ideal base to explore the coast and forest.

We believe that the simple things are often the best. That good times are spent with friends and family, sat around the table enjoying great food and drink. That everyone receives the warmest of welcomes and is made to feel special. Our new menu combines traditional pub classics with modern, more contemporary dishes offering something for everyone. Whether you’re dining from our main menu, our weekly specials board, or the famous Walhampton Arms carvery on Sundays or Mondays, you can expect fresh, home-cooked food, lovingly prepared.

Whether it’s a light bite, something to share with friends over a couple of drinks or you’re planning a celebration for someone special then the Walhampton Arms is the place to visit.

With food served from 12 noon each day, we also have a range of vegetarian, vegan and of course dishes to keep children happy. Looking for a venue to host a special event or party? From small intimate dinner parties to buffet style catering for up to 110 guests, the Walhampton Arms is the perfect place to celebrate that special occasion or business event

It’s not just great food, drink and a warm welcome here at the Walhampton Arms, we also have a busy summer of events and entertainment coming up.

With themed food nights and our regular ‘first Friday of the month’ music quiz night, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
