Bus tours
New Forest Platinum Tours offer chauffeur-driven day tours of The New Forest for up to seven passengers. Starting from central Southampton or from the cruise terminal, there are a variety of tours to choose from, including the popular ‘Heart of the Forest Tour’ which takes in Exbury Gardens, Brockenhurst, Beaulieu, Lyndhurst and Burley. Small group tours and private tours are also available if you fancy extending your tour, or visiting specific places that aren’t on the usual tour routes. Standard tour durations start from just one hour (for a taster tour) through to four hours.
Hop onboard the New Forest Tour bus from Saturday 25 June to Sunday 18 September. This is an extremely popular choice for visitors of the New Forest, for the perfect views of our stunning landscapes, free-roaming animals and wonderful towns and villages. The New Forest Tour provides a hop-on, hop-off service connecting many parts of the New Forest up, the tours run daily and three routes are on offer.
Enjoy beautiful sights of the New Forest on Yellow Buses' Buster's New Forest Explorer! Travelling between Ringwood and Christchurch, through Burley, Bransgore and Highcliffe, there's lots of wonderful views along the way and the perfect places to stop off for a trip to a quiant cafe or country pub for delicious local refreshments, or for a walk amongst the unique wildlife and nature in the New Forest. It's a great way to travel to, and around, the New Forest,
New Forest Minibus Tours run trips through the New Forest operated by a former Forester. Tours last 3.5 hours and can include subjects such as deer, habitats or famous New Forest ponies. The vehicle carries up to eight passengers, is air-conditioned and you’ll be equipped with educational materials and binoculars to help you explore our National Park further. The tours can be booked to start and end at your holiday accommodation, at one of the New Forest’s railway stations or coach stations or from a local address and the Southampton Cruise Terminals.
