Green Leaf Award Attractions, Activities & Events

The Green Leaf Tourism Business Scheme’s overall aim is to make the New Forest the UK’s greenest destination! On this page you will find New Forest attractions, activities and events which are working hard to improve their responsible net zero business operation and visitor experience. All businesses listed on this webpage have achieved either a Gold, Silver or Bronze Green Leaf Award by completing the Green Leaf Scheme’s checklist of responsible and sustainable actions.

The checklist covers eight categories; Responsible Travel, Responsible Visiting, Food & Local Produce, Energy Efficiency, Waste, Water & Re-cycling, Land Use & Nature Conservation, Visitor Stewardship (Care for the forest, care for each other) and Supporting Local Business.

We already have a few local attractions, activities and events who have filled in their checklist and have achieved a Green Leaf Award, including a local museum, a fantastic theme park and a watersport activity provider.
