Longdown Activity Farm is a fantastic day out for the whole family. A daily schedule of activities includes kid goat and calf bottle-feeding, duck feeding, and meeting small and friendly farm animals in the Animal Encounter Barn. Plus, there are lots more animals to see such as cows, ponies, donkeys, alpacas, pigs, goats, chickens and ducks, and much more.
We have worked very hard to ensure that visitors to our farm, and our team members are safe. To ensure that Covid-19 restrictions are adhered to, all visitors (including season ticket holders) are required to prebook tickets on the Longdown Activity Farm website. Visitors are requested to read the Longdown Code of Conduct along with other useful information and FAQs, which can be found on the Longdown Activity Farm website.
Don’t miss our very popular (and very bumpy!) tractor and trailer rides (ground conditions permitting). There is no extra charge for the tractor ride. Children will enjoy 'Pitch and Putt' - the crazy golf course, and the large outdoor play area which is ideal for a picnic too. Other play equipment includes ride-on tractor toys, go-karts, diggers (extra charge), and Go Quackers.
A schedule of fabulous events run throughout the season, but do check on the Longdown website for the latest updates on each event.
Don’t miss the Longdown Farm Shop for a large range of delicious locally sourced produce. There's no charge to visit the Farm Shop which is open to visitors and non-visitors to the Activity Farm.
The tearoom and kiosk, serving drinks and snacks, will be open, with outdoor seating and a limited amount of covered seating provided nearby.
Gift shop, picnic areas, nappy changing and quiet room.
We are proud to offer a Changing Room facility containing an adult-sized height adjustable bed, lifting hoist, and adapted toilet and sink for individuals with a registered disability or for those with a need for the equipment.
