Their #cookwithchefchris series is something you don’t want to miss, with delicious recipes you can try at home. Balmer Lawn Hotel have been posting different recipes across their social media accounts, including their Dirty Burger with Dirty Fries recipe they’ve posted to Facebook, or head to their IGTV on Instagram where you can find recipes and cooking hacks, such as how to make the perfect Poached Egg, Homemade Pizzas, and Quick Quesadillas – perfect and fun to make with kids!

Forest Park Hotel have also been doing a mouthwatering video series of recipes for you to watch and try with Chef Mateusz. They’ve posted lots of recipes onto their online Journal for you to accomplish in your own kitchen - all recipes are from their Executive Chef, Ben. Try out his Lamb Tagine - perfectly warming food for the colder spring days, his delightful Honey, Lemon and Semolina Cake – inspired by Greek-style revani and zesty flavours or if there’s a special occasion coming up in your household, why don’t you try and master his ‘Nearly Naked’ Victoria Sponge Cake?

Are you missing enjoying a ‘proper pub meal’? Don’t worry, we are too! But The Drift Inn are fixing this for us by posting heartwarming recipes for you to make and dive into in the comfort of your own home. An ultimate dish you’ll find at most of our New Forest pubs is a good old Shepherd’s Pie, try out The Drift Inn’s recipe and see what you think! Or try out their delicious Minestrone Soup recipe, perfect for lunchtime or for a light dinner. They’ve also shared some of their most popular desserts recipes including Cinnamon Doughnuts, Chocolate Brownies and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
