Easter Breaks in the New Forest

Fancy an Easter Break to the magical New Forest? You’ll be sure to have a cracking time here! We have plenty of places to stay in the New Forest this Easter.

There is no better time to come and visit us than in the spring - with fresh greens on the leaves and flowers blossoming in the forest. Our New Forest Ponies will be wandering around with their newly-born foals and the warmer weather should lend itself perfectly for springtime walks, bike rides or simply relaxing in the sunshine.

Rest up at one of our beautiful hotels. We have five star luxurious country house abodes with all the facilities you could wish for through to smaller bolt-holes on the forest’s edge. Many of our hotels offer spa facilities so you can soak away your troubles after a busy day’s exploring. Plus look out for hotels with award-winning dining, where local New Forest produce is often top of the menu.

Grab a great Easter deal at some of our egg-cellent holiday parks - they offer some fantastic facilities for all the family including evening entertainment, swimming pools and outdoor activities. Just take a look at what each park has to offer your family. Many will accept dogs too so you really can bring the whole family away with you this Easter.

The milder weather of late spring and Easter lends itself to camping. If you are a big fan of the great outdoors then why not head to one of our New Forest campsites? You can find a range of sites across the forest and many of which have direct access to the forest and the possibility of getting really close to some of our wildlife. It’s not unusual for a New Forest pony or two to be found taking a wander close by to your tent or caravan!  Or enjoy that little bit of added luxury, while still experiencing sleeping under the stars, with lots of fantastic glamping options in the New Forest, too.

Enjoy some special family time at one of our self-catering holiday cottages this Easter. If you love to have your home comforts and the opportunity to cater for yourselves with no fusses over mealtimes then a self-catering break could be ideal for you. We have cottages that range in size from some that sleep two to those that can cater for large groups - perfect for a large family gathering or a get together of friends. Many will offer a welcome pack as part of the stay with some handy staples such as tea bags and milk and perhaps even some tasty local treats. Book for a short break or a week long stay.

Staying in one of our Bed & Breakfasts is a fantastic way to start your day’s adventures. Begin your morning with a hearty breakfast before venturing out to see just how much the New Forest has to offer. Plus by staying in one of our B&Bs you’ll get the opportunity to meet some of our locals and get top tips on where they love to visit, walk and explore.

Loads of places to stay in the New Forest are family friendly, so you definitely won't struggle with finding anywhere for the whole family to stay! And if you want to bring all family members along on your Easter break, plenty of them are also really dog friendly too - making it easy for you to book your perfect family Easter getaway.

With a two-week break from school, it’s a wonderful time to bring the whole family to come and stay and you will find plenty to do here. Hop to our local attractions and enjoy all of the Easter fun they have to offer. We’ve got some great family favourites including the ever-popular Peppa Pig World alongside the fast-paced rides at Paulton’s Park and the ideal place for motoring enthusiasts, the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, or Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum.
